**WSF BETTE DAVIS IS A MPRR HANS OFFSPRING!!**
Our beautiful WSF Bette Davis has now calved a tiny bull calf! She has now graduated to OUR COWS page on our website. :-) She is technically a "first calf heifer", and will be known as a "cow" with her second birth.
WSF Bette Davis will carry on her dam's fabulous lineage and bloodlines from the farm of Nathan Harris, our favorite early breeder of Mini Jerseys. She has just given us a superb and small bull calf (WSF Cheddar) to help carry on these lines...we are super pleased with her and her new calf. Below are her particulars:

~HUNTING CREEK FARM CLARABELLE ~
Photo taken 10/20/20 in evening ^
HCF Clarabelle is a super nice cow to me in every way. I have thought about purchasing her since I first saw her a few years back and Adam finally agreed to let her come home with us. Her sire is D C Johnny Bob (by AI) and her dam is D C Buttercup (Hester's Bob Honey X Hester's Petals). I recently had the opportunity to purchase the last 25 known units of D C Johnny Bob semen to continue these lineages. :-) Miss Clarabelle has a voluptuous udder and milks heavily when fresh...:-)

WSF Tia Maria has matured into a very beautiful first calf heifer and excellent milker! She delivered a really nice bull calf (WSF Oh Henry!) without a fuss or assistance. Tia will carry on the lines of Nathan Harris and his fabulous historical stock. We are maintaining as many of the Barnyard Mini animals as we can here. Miss Tia is out of Barnyard Mini Ellie Mae, the last heifer produced on the Harris farm, and MHF Tommy Hawk.
WSF Tia Maria has been confirmed in calf with BH Peter again, hopefully for
a repeat of Peter Piper in fall of 2021
Tia is very small and stocky and is quite the boss at the bunk feeder. She milks a bit over 16# or 2 gallons, on once daily. We began milking her twice daily as we do all of our cows when they freshen, then we go to once daily when it is safe, to avoid mastitis in our girls. We sure love this little heifer! Below are her particulars:
Registered Name: WSF Tia Maria Registration #: MJHB0629
Date of Birth: 27 Sept 2016 Tattoo: WSF80 (LE)
Sire: MHF Tommy Hawk (confirmed) Horns: Hetero polled
Dam: Barnyard Mini Ellie Mae Height: 41" @ 4 years

*************************************************************************************************** ~ FRAZIER'S EMMA ~
Photos taken 10/20/20 in evening ^
Frazier's Emma is one special little cow to me. Her daughter and son are both as nice as she is! There is simply nothing that I do not like about her. Super gentle, milks like a dream and laid back in nature. :-)
Emma is simply one of the most flawlessly put together miniature Jerseys
that I have ever looked upon.
She is truly superior as a small dairy cow, in my eyes and is the epitome of what we breed for here. We also have her daughter here, Frazier's Trixy.
UPDATE: Miss Emma has been calved this morning with a super nice little heifer! WSF Boomerang is the sire and we could not be more pleased!
We look forward to taking good care of Emma as long as the good Lord allows her to stay with us. :-) Below are her particulars:

This is our beautlful cow, Frazier's Trixy. She is a cookie cutter copy of her mama, Frazier's Emma. Right now, all are still shedding winter coats, more pics to come once it's all done!
Trixy has one of our favorite bulls in her lineage....Ochwilla Hill Conan is her dam's sire and is Trixy's grand sire. Conan has a great lineage from Annette Hester's herd and farm (Hester's Bob Honey) and HBHoney goes back to the famous Dwight Lewis' Rudabaga (sire of Bob Honey). Bob Honey is still one of my all time favorite bulls, too. We have several Ochwilla Hill Conan semen units and plan to breed Trixy back to him in the future to tighten that lineage in her calves.
Miss Trixy has been confirmed bred to WSF Boomerang
Miss Trixy has been a favorite of ours and of all who see her in person not only for her superior pedigree but for her light blond coloring. Below are her particulars:
Name: Frazier's Trixy Registration #: MJHB0600
Date of Birth: 13 Mar 2016 Tattoo: WSFP (LE)
Sire: Sunshine Acres Integrity Horns: Hetero polled
Dam: Frazier's Emma Height: 41" @ 3 yrs
DNA Case #: NC32322 Dam of WSF Lil' Darlin',

We are so blessed to have this little cow at our farm! She hails from the farm of one of the original breeders of Miniature Jerseys...Ralph Martin. His son, Ansley, is carrying on the family tradition. Minnie is probably one of the best examples of a mini Jerseys that I've seen in a while...a very well proportioned dairy cow, with a flawless topline and balanced udder. She is producing 3 gallons on once daily milking for us now.
She also happens to be under 42", homo polled and painted...three of our top desired traits! We have no idea who her sire or dam are because the Martin's do not register their cattle to our knowledge, but we don't mind...they raise some very nice and sought after stock. I commend Ansley on his good taste! Minnie comes from some of the last stock that Ralph had on his farm when he passed away.
UPDATE:
Minnie has been placed with BH Peter for her next calf
Martin's Minnie stands at 41". Minnie had never been milked before coming to us, but she is trained now and calmly stands untied just like all of our girls here, do. Minnie has joined her other herdmates and will live herl life out here on our farm. There are not many of the original Martin bloodlines still out there today, so we'll try our best to maintain some here, like we are with the Barnyard Mini lines, from Nathan Harris, a good friend of Martin's. We are honored to have cattle and genetics from both of these men and their farms. Below are her particulars:
Name: Ansley Martin's Minnie Registration #:MJHB0681
Date of Birth: 15 Jun 2013 Tattoo: WSFP

Dam: Unknown Height: 41" @ 5 yrs

Photo taken 04/29/20 ^ a stunning cow, in my opinion! :-)
Pure perfection in a miniature Jersey dairy cow!
Well attached, high quality udder after 5 calves! ^ 07/25/18
We were delighted to purchase, this absolutely knock-out beautiful miniature Jersey cow from a friend of our family. She was born and has resided in southern Florida, but has moved here to the mountains of north Georgia to live at White Star Farm. We purchased her heifer calf DKA Bleu Belle in 2014 and are more than pleased with her. It is an honor and a blessing to be able to own them both! Wish we had a dozen just like them!
Jersey Acres Buttercup is an actual 40" miniature and delivered the gorgeous heifer below (Bleu Belle) May 12th, 2014, with Jersey Acres DKA Beauregard, a beautiful and painted bull (the sire to our gorgeous DKA Bleu Belle)
Both Buttercup and Beauregard can be seen in the Pedigree Listing of the MJHB&R.

Bleu is developing into a mature and well built little cow. We are so pleased with her growth and beauty. She has a very well attached and balanced udder and is a pleasure to milk. She delivered a beautifully painted bull calf with our gorgeous bull, WSF Little White Cloud. (WSF Sundance)
We are so blessed to own this beauty, DKA Bleu Belle...an exquesite heifer that we are super pleased with. Bleu is a daughter of Jersey Acres Buttercup (above photos) and full sister to WSF Neapolitan Heart.
MIss Bleu Belle has been pasture exposed to WSF Ranger for her next cafl

Miss Joy is a lovely heifer from our dear friends in Virginia. We chose her because her dam is one of our favorite milking cows...Martin's Primrose Abby and her sire is by AI, Sunshine Acres Loyal. Joy is a super sweet cow, being bottle raised by the Clinton's. She is taller and is considered a standard by height, but a beauty to look at and own!
Joy calved with her first calf, but the calf was stillborn from a separated placenta. She will be bred again when ready, to BH Peter.
Below are her particulars:
Registered Name: Bethel Homestead Joy Registration #: MJHB1017
